About Me + This Site

I go by ilikeboiledegg on most online platforms, though I don't use that many.
I decided to learn HTML thanks to a friend's encouragement to log my art progress.
Although my initial motivation for creating this blog was to do just as she recommended,
I'm starting to grow a real interest for HTML, and am kind of worried I won't find as
much time for drawing as I initially planned...
I think I'll try to time-block HTML-learning sessions and drawing practice sessions
in my week. I like to plan things, but I find it hard to commit to such plansfor a long period of time.
But I'm really hoping I stick to this whole blog-making thing, I'm finding it really fun!

Some of my interests

• Indie games, like Undertale, Deltarune, Hollow Knight, Oneshot, Outer Wilds, Rain World, and more!
• Playing video game soundtracks, I especially love the jazzy ones!
• Drawing, mostly sketches on paper or digital.
• Listening to music.
• Collecting physical copies of music I love, either as CDs or as vinyls.
• Biology and chemistry. Frankly, I'm not the best with the latter, but I still enjoy learning about it
a lot! Especially atomic theory. I'd love to learn physics to understand it better, but I've never been
really good at it and I'm scared taking a course on it will ruin my GPA lol. Maybe I'll learn it on my own
time, and log the progress here as well!
• Very recently, HTML. I'm really enjoying my time making this site right now xD

Things that inspire me

Music

Some of my utmost favourite artists include...

Kent

Kent is an alt/indie-rock band from Sweden. They were active from the 1990s to 2010s, officially disbanding
in 2016 with their final album Då som nu för alltid. In their active years, they released 12 albums in total, excluding the compilation albums. Though it's hard to narrow
down the ones I enjoy the most, if I had to recommend 3 albums for new listeners to start with, they'd be:

• Kent (1995)
• Hagnesta Hill (1999)
• Du och Jag Döden (2005)

Here's a concept art I drew for a track in Du och Jag Döden a few years ago. I wanted to make an animation, but I
ended up only sketching out 3 seconds of footage at 8fps before dropping it lol...
